Fraser's Hill
(104 km from Kuala Lumpur) can be reached from Kuala Lumpur through
the North-South Highway turning-off at either Rawang, Lembah Beringin
or Tanjung Malim. From these exits use the old Tanjung Malim -
Kuala Lumpur trunk road to Kuala Kubu Baru. From Kuala Kubu Baru
take the Kuala Kubu Baru - Bentong/Raub road towards Raub. You
will be driving along a winding roads for a stretch of about 40
kilometers until you reaches “The Gap” the one-way
road up to Fraser's Hill.
Alternatively Fraser's Hill can be reached through the Karak highway.
Turn left at the Bentong junction and proceed to Teranum and “The
Gap” The last 8 km from the Gap to the top of Fraser's hill
is along scenic, narrow winding road which carries one-way traffic
from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. This stretch (35 min to 45 min) is for
one way traffic during the day and 2 way at night. It is narrow
and wide enough for one car only except several stretches where
2 cars can squeeze through. Gates (Lower Gate & Upper Gates)
control the passage of traffic at the last 7km stretch to Fraser's
Hill. Please be careful when driving at night, sometimes on a
foggy night the visibility may be cut to zero.
